TWENTY NINE CREW AND PASSENGERS WERE ALLOWED TO SWIM ASHORE OFF PALAWAN ISLAND. THE OILER BEING A QUALIFIED ENGINNER WAS KEPT ON BOARD TO PROBABLY OPERATE THE ENGINES. INTENTION OF THE HIJACKERS IS UNKNOWN. 2. THE SILVER MED WAS SIGHTED IN SINGAPORE TERRITORIAL WATERS AT ANCHOR OFF SULTAN SHOAL ON 28 SEPTEMBER 1
