A group of immigrants had taken over the Tunisian fishing vessel, while the vessel was traveling north at 7 knots. The group aboard the boat originally consisted of 47 immigrants. Naval authorities from Italy, Tunisia, and Malta came to the assistance and eventually transferred the migrants off the fishing vessel (LM)
